Familiar with the tagline? Yep, i've been using this Smart USB Modem for almost 4 months. I got this soon after Fe gave me Pinky (it was one-package-gift from him xp) Price slightly below 1 million, but it came with 100-days-free-internet-access, so it's a great deal comparing with other providers. The modem supports EVDO.

Evolution-Data Optimized or Evolution-Data only, abbreviated as EV-DO or EVDO and often EV, is a telecommunications standard for the wireless transmission of data through radio signals, typically for broadband Internet access. It uses multiplexing techniques including code division multiple access (CDMA) as well as time division multiple access (TDMA) to maximize both individual user's throughput and the overall system throughput. It is standardized by 3rd Generation Partnership Project 2 (3GPP2) as part of the CDMA2000 family of standards and has been adopted by many mobile phone service providers around the world – particularly those previously employing CDMA networks. It is also used on the Globalstar satellite phone network.^[1]

EV-DO was designed as an evolution of the CDMA2000 (IS-2000) standard that would support high data rates and could be deployed alongside a wireless carrier's voice services. An EV-DO channel has a bandwidth of 1.25 MHz, the same bandwidth size that IS-95A (IS-95) and IS-2000 (1xRTT) use.^[2] The channel structure, on the other hand, is very different. Additionally, the back-end network is entirely packet-based, and thus is not constrained by the restrictions typically present on a circuit switched network.

The EV-DO feature of CDMA2000 networks provides access to mobile devices with forward link air interface speeds of up to 2.4 Mbit/s with Rev. 0 and up to 3.1 Mbit/s with Rev. A. The reverse link rate for Rev. 0 can operate up to 153 kbit/s, while Rev. A can operate at up to 1.8 Mbit/s. It was designed to be operated end-to-end as an IP based network, and so it can support any application which can operate on such a network and bit rate constraints. - Wikipedia

So this EVDO thing really brings me benefit. I got no more less buffers on watching youtube, and download's much much faster..for instance, i got 42 downloaded songs only in 2 hours. That's something for a free-internet-access! :D But yesterday was the last day for free access, now i gotta subscribe monthly service and pay..well..low fee!
And if i reload the balance at least 50K, i got 15 days free internet access and talk hour for any Smart users around the country! Oh i love this provider! Good Job Smart!

Jerawat Gawat!

Dulu sekali, ada masanya seorang gadis berada di masa terbaiknya. Ibarat bunga tuh, lagi mekar2nya. Badan singset, rambut klimis *halah* dan kulit licin. Rasanya hidup begitu ringan. Belom lagi emang yg namanya tanggung jawab hanya sebatas beresin kamar, ga pulang pagi dan belajar. Semakin indah dunia.

Seiring berjalannya waktu, *yaaa namanya juga idup, kadang diatas, kadang dibawah..* semuanya berubah.

Awalnya sih gara2 kuliah siang. Rumah si gadis di pinggiran Jakarta, kuliahnya di salah satu universitas negeri di Depok. Jauhnya? Yah, hampir 2 jam perjalanan dengan bis. Kuliah mulai jam 1, jam 11 si gadis dah bergerilya nunggu angkot untuk kemudian berganti Deborah, bis AKAP keunguan dengan ragam rupa aroma penumpangnya di tengah hari bolong. FYI tak hanya aroma yg menguar di dalam deborah, banyak tangan bergerilya pula ke dalam tas. Pokoknya nih gadis berani luar biasa deh.

Si gadis ini cuwek beibeh, ndak pernah pake sunblock. Jangankan sunblock, sisir aja dia ga pernah bawa. Tau apa efeknya kalo ga pake sunblock sedari dini di udara sepanas jakarta coret? Baca disini yaa..

Dan efek tambahan di kulit si gadis *kata bu dokter di erha clinic*, kena matahari bikin spot muka si gadis yg masih mulus jadi jerawatan dan  yg udah jerawatan jadi meradang. Dan emg bener, diperhatiin setiap pulang dari pantai kok mesti jerawat si gadis menggila sebesar biji kacang ijo..alhamdulillah ga segede biji jagung, nanti bisa dipatok ayam.

Ditambah lagi, si gadis ini rada jorok. Pulang kuliah sampe rumah dah jam 9-10 malam. Mandi iya, cucimuka iya, tapi ya sekedarnya. Sementara residu2 dari partikel debu dan knalpot Deborah bertumpuk-puk diwajahnya. FYI, di kampuspun mukanya hanya terkena air wudhu, ga pake tuh cumuk pake sabun. Jadi yaa seharian mukanya pake masker debu..hehe.

Ckckck,,ya ya..

Setelah 1 semester jalan perkuliahan, selamat!! Si gadis dapet banyak sekali “penghargaan” di wajahnya. Jerawat kecil2 di seputar pipi, dagu dan sedikit di jidat. Adil bukan, semua spot kebagian. Hidungnya malah pernah dapet rejeki jerawat segede jagung itu tadi. Dan semakin hebatnya lagi, si gadis pede aja ogah mencetin itu jerawat. Sampe sahabatnya gemes sendiri.

Bertahun2 si gadis ogah berkunjung ke dukun kulit. Semua diobatin sendiri, pake obat yg diiklan2 itu loh, kadang pake odol yg ditotol ke jerawat. FYI, pakenya jgn lebih dari 2 hari, bikin kulit gosong :D

Hasilnya? Satu tewas, yg lain bales dendam, ga rela akan kempesnya saudaranya. Selama perkuliahan, ga pernah licin muka si gadis, berlanjut sampe ke tahun2 berikutnya di dunia kerja. Padahal si gadis udah berobat jalan ke beberapa dukun kulit, termasuk ke erhaclinic tadi itu, dimana ternyata teriknya mentari berkontribusi dalam tumbuhnya titik-titik yg ternyata bukan pertanda jatuh cinta itu. Fyuh. Capek.

Maka diemin aja deh tuh muka, sampe sekarang. Officially 7 tahun hidup dengan jerawat. Sempet mulus, tapi kulit pucet macam vampir akibat efek obat dukun. Sekarangpun masih berobat ke dukun deket rumah, jadi ya long way to go hehe. Moral dari tulisan ini: Deborah banyak copetnya! hehe..

Bingung ya, ga menemukan obat jerawat manjur dalam posting ini? Sudahlah..hilangkan jerawat cara lama: dokter kulit. Lama dan mahal. Cara cepat: photoshop. Mudah dan murah. Jadi yah, selama ada photoshop, hidup ini indah kok. HORE!!

apapun keadaannya, minum teh panas sosro

I got this headache, it's killing me.
I seldom take medicines.
I believe Teh Panas Manis always be the best remedy...for PMS, ulcer and headache. Remember "PANAS", not "anget", not "suam-suam kuku", not "dingin" xp

And i always make it fresh..put a teabag in the cup, pour hot water, then wait 5 minutes..add 2 teaspoon of sugar (I like semi-sweet). There.
Take a sip!

PS: Sosro is alternative brand, I'm a Tong Tji Addict xp.. pick "tubruk-type". It adds more sensations xp

bad bad friend

Just find out one of my good friend's leaving country for 3 years. And i havent meet him yet in such a long time. He texted me once last week, and i didnt reply just bcoz i was having a bad bad mood
Now i know maybe he texted me to let me know he'll be leaving soon..Good God, i'm such a bad bad friend. He just took off about 2 hours ago. And i'm not able to text him, leave alone calling him :(
He always there, whenever i need some energy boost. That's what i call him, my energy booster. Whether it's on 4 pm or 2 am, he always willing to hear my whines.. He could tell whether i'm fine or just pretending to be okay. He knew me well, too damn well.. Oh how wish him luck in his journey for success, and forgive me for having such an attitude

meet pinky!

This is Pinky...the 3rd gadget Fe gave me :)
I got this as my birthday gift last December. He asked me whether i want the white one instead, but considering my clumsiness (oh,those white keyboard.. xp) i fell for this gorgeous one. Pink with Imprint 3D Design by Tord Boontje.
I'm not a gadget freak, i only access pc for officeworks and/or for internet, so i dont know which brands are better than the other..but Fe does know, a lot xp so he chose this brand..(good choice, ebeh!)

He always know what i want -- just sometimes he chooses not to give me xp..
i love love love Fe so damn much!
